GMC 2½ ton US Cargo Truck (Normandy, June 1944)

A neat kit of the workhorse WWII US 2½ ton GMC Cargo Truck - known as the "Deuce and a half". Used extensively in all theatres of WWII to transport supplies, ammunition and GIs to the front line. Capable of carrying 10,000lbs of stores with a range of 500miles on a 50 gallon tank of fuel. This kit depicts an GMC of the US 1st Infantry Division in Normandy, France in June 1944.
