Flakpanzer IV "Möbelwagen" 2cm Flak38
The Möbelwagen was first converted in 1943 and armed with a quad 2cm Flakvierling 38. A second design with a 3.7cm Flak 43 L/89 was approved with 270 built.
The Möbelwagen mounted a 2cm Flak38 in a four sided open top superstructure with four hinged armoured plates that could be lowered allowing for full 360 degree traverse. The design left the crew highly exposed. Despite being a stop gap, the Möbelwagen was eventually replaced by the Wirbelwind, Ostwind and Kugelblitz.
